Diesel Driving Academy (DDA) is seeking an energetic, results-driven Director of Admissions to lead our admissions team and help prospective students begin rewarding careers in the transportation industry. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing the admissions process, managing admissions representatives, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and driving enrollment growth while providing exceptional student experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Admissions team to achieve enrollment goals. 
  • Oversee all aspects of the student recruitment and admissions process. 
  • Monitor admissions performance through metrics, reporting, and accountability. 
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to increase qualified student enrollment. 
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, accrediting agency, and institutional admissions policies. 
  • Build relationships with prospective students, employers, workforce agencies, and community organizations. 
  • Collaborate with Financial Aid, Career Services, and Campus Leadership to provide seamless student experience. 
  • Conduct admissions interviews and assist prospective students in identifying career training opportunities. 
  • Train admissions staff on best practices, compliance, and customer service. 
  • Prepare reports, forecasts, and enrollment projections for executive leadership. 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; Associate degree and/or relevant experience will be considered. 
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of admissions, enrollment management, or sales leadership experience. 
  • Proven success leading high-performing teams and achieving enrollment or sales goals. 
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and organizational skills. 
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications. 
  • Ability to analyze data and implement strategic enrollment initiatives. 
  • Experience in higher education, vocational education, or career training is preferred. 
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance in post-secondary education is a plus.
