Diesel Driving Academy is seeking an Operations Manager for their growing Campus in Baton Rouge, LA.  Diesel Driving Academy is one of the most successful nationally accredited truck driver training schools in America, and Louisiana’s oldest and largest Class A CDL training school. The trucking and transportation industry is growing, and the demand for professionally trained truck driving graduates has never been greater.  For 50 years, Diesel Driving Academy has been helping men and women achieve their long-term career goals by becoming professional drivers.
 
The Operations Manager is the Campus Director and plays a crucial role in dealing with both students and staff members.  Excellent communication skills, a willingness to work in a team environment, and management experience make you a perfect candidate for this rewarding and well-paid position.
 
Job Requirements
 
  1. Excellent communication skills
  2. Willingness to work with others
  3. Previous management experience
  4. Computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office
  5. BA, BS or higher required
 
Job Responsibilities
 
  1. Campus Director will oversee day to day operations
  2. Responsible for student and employee safety
  3. Ensuring all training programs are delivered to students as written
  4. Scheduling CDL tests
  5. Scheduling CDL instructors
  6. Reviewing student daily driving records
  7. Responsible for hiring and training CDL instructors
  8. Responsible for implementation of additional training programs
  9. Responsible for cleanliness of facility
